Nurse Practitioner at LTS Health Wellness Center

LTS is in search of a dedicated and licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our mobile and static wellness initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to LTS policies, professional standards, and program protocols. A strong emphasis on reliability and meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and mentor clinical personnel, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs).
  • Ensure compliance with immunization protocols and safety measures.
  • Conduct comprehensive health evaluations and administer vaccinations across all age groups.
  • Manage immediate medical concerns and adverse reactions related to immunizations.
  • Uphold LTS Policies & Procedures and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
  • Learn and execute diagnostic tests (point-of-care).
  • Act as the clinical lead for wellness centers and immunization operations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ACIP guidelines and vaccination administration.
  • Perform vital sign assessments and basic wellness evaluations.
  • Interpret abnormal vital signs and escalate as necessary.
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) for patients experiencing adverse reactions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures, documenting necessary information.
  • Provide educational materials and health information to patients.
  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Manage inventory, including the ordering and handling of vaccines and medical supplies.
  • Document patient records accurately, including immunization histories.
  • Monitor clinic performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports on clinic activities and vaccination statistics.
  • Stay updated with immunization guidelines from the CDC and other health authorities.
  • Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) with valid state licensure.
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in public health or mobile healthcare.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and self-motivation abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to learn and share expertise on operational systems.
Licensure and Certifications:
  • Active NP license in good standing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in various environments for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain visual acuity and perform fine motor functions.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases and occupational hazards.
