Position Overview:

In the role of Senior Project Manager at SS&C Advent, you will take charge of software implementation projects from inception to completion. This position entails managing project activities to ensure alignment with business requirements while addressing any deviations from the project plan concerning scope, resources, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage 10+ years of experience in the wealth management or asset management sector
  • Utilize 5+ years of experience in client-facing Project Management
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies
  • Employ project management tools and lead extensive projects with complex Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Communicate effectively and present information clearly
  • Preference for knowledge of SS&C products
  • Be prepared for occasional travel

Qualifications:

  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Facilitate project workshops and project initiations
  • Effectively manage project execution and activities
  • Collaborate with Consultants and internal teams for project success
  • Manage client expectations and address concerns
  • Make collaborative decisions with consultants on projects/solutions
  • Review and discuss project objectives with clients
  • Establish project baselines and review project risks
  • Handle change management, issue escalation, and resource management
