Job Overview

Kurtis Chevrolet is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Automotive Title Clerk to join our Accounting Office. We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual who possesses a positive demeanor to take on this vital role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the registration process for both new and pre-owned vehicles in compliance with state regulations.
  • Prepare and organize tax and title documentation efficiently.
  • Ensure timely submission of all necessary paperwork to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Maintain a comprehensive system for verifying out-of-state titles.
  • Keep an updated record of all pending title tasks.
  • Prepare titles for wholesale transactions.
  • Timely submission of all finance and insurance product premiums.
  • Handle cancellations of finance and insurance products as required.
  • Maintain and reconcile assigned accounting schedules and general ledger accounts.
  • Process applications for state title and registration.
  • Address and resolve any titling issues that may arise.
  • Verify all details on titles, including odometer readings and lien releases.
  • Communicate effectively with the county clerk's office regarding related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong capacity to collaborate within a team.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must have a clear criminal background.
