Parking Operations Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Operations Manager to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our parking operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise parking office staff and ensure efficient operation of the parking facility.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors, addressing all onsite daily parking inquiries.
  • Manage billing, collections, monthly reconciliation, sales journal, and cash app duties for a high-volume garage.
  • Assist with ticket audit, reconcile transient revenue from pay-on-foot machines, and prepare and input daily reports in JD Edwards.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team, bringing issues to their attention in a timely manner.
  • Set up building access, parking access, and card readers, and perform occasional cab reboots.
  • Assist with bimonthly and monthly financial reports for the manager for accounting and revenue reconciliation.
  • Filing and maintaining files, answering telephones, and assisting with OSHA requirements for compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years' parking experience in an office required.
  • Ability to multitask, think clearly, decisively, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional manner, attitude, appearance, and dependability are a must.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, JD Edwards input, adding-deleting parkers).
  • Able to solve customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of SKIDATA Parking Equipment is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay: $24.00 per hour (depending on experience).
  • Medical, Dental, Life, and 401k plan with one (1) year of service including 1,000 hours worked.
