Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team at LAZ Parking. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, and service-related success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the activities of Shift Leads, Captains, and frontline staff to ensure exceptional customer service and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, control expenses, and maintain high levels of safety and service standards.
  • Coordinate and execute meeting space functions, including setup, staffing, and logistics, in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Implement and maintain a service philosophy that ensures 100% guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Hospitality preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Banquet Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of meeting room setup styles, staffing guidelines, and food and beverage cost controls.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial reports (P&Ls).
Desirable Skills
  • Ability to input and access information in computers/point of sales systems.
  • Previous guest relations training.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
  • Ability to work in variable noise levels.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
