Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Entech. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial processes.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for owning all aspects of accounting management, including billing, tax forms, and reporting. You will also develop and implement internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage journal entries, invoices, and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
  • Execute and organize financial due diligence as part of a M&A team
  • Participate in preparation for the annual audit
  • Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
  • Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies
  • Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as controller or other similar position
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Prior experience working in the Consulting Services industry
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
