Head Teller

Job Summary:

The Head Teller is a key member of the branch team, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence. As a Teller Supervisor, you will coordinate customer service functions, monitor customer flow, and operate the teller drawer with precision. Your expertise in resolving complex customer service matters and ensuring compliance will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate customer service functions, including monitoring customer flow and operating the teller drawer
* Research and resolve complex customer service matters, ensuring operational excellence and compliance
* Coach, motivate, and create a positive work environment that demonstrates the Ameris Approach and aligns with the Bank's Mission, Vision, Purpose, Experience Expectations, and Values
* Perform regular audits of teller activities, maintaining signed records
* Responsible for Vault transactions and balancing Vault and ATM

Requirements:

* 3 or more years of customer experience required
* 2 or more years of Teller experience or equivalent cash handling experience required
* 1 year of retail banking experience required
* Supervisory experience preferred
