Ednovate operates a network of public, tuition-free, high-performing college preparatory high schools located in Los Angeles and Orange County. Our mission is to support first-generation college-bound students from historically underserved communities. Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Equity: Ensure that all students, regardless of their backgrounds, have access to a high-quality, personalized college preparatory experience.
  • Engage Deeply: Prepare for an in-depth exploration of content. Our educators create and implement a cutting-edge digital curriculum aligned with Common Core and NGSS Standards.
  • Empower Students: Act as a facilitator of student learning, guiding scholars to achieve their full academic and personal potential throughout their high school journey.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Through advisory roles, mentor the same group of students over their four years, fostering connections with their families and celebrating their achievements together.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with a proven track record of enhancing student learning.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A California Single Subject Teaching Credential is preferred, or an out-of-state credential with a clear plan for obtaining California certification within a year.
  • A growth mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A belief in the potential of all Ednovate students to succeed in college and effect positive multigenerational change.

Additional Information

This position is exempt, in-person, and follows an 11-month schedule. While a California Single Subject Teaching Credential is preferred, we are committed to assisting high-quality candidates in pursuing full credentialing.
