Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time English as a Second Language Instructor to join our team. As an ESL Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a range of English language courses to students from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English language courses to students of varying proficiency levels.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Bachelor's degree in TESL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an ESL setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Flexibility to teach a variety of courses and schedules.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
