Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications, hardware, network operations, telecommunications, data interfaces, and other systems and devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining and growing a diverse knowledge base, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications, hardware, network operations, telecommunications, data interfaces, and other systems and devices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain and grow a diverse knowledge base across various application domains and operating systems.
  • Receive, record, and re-distribute work to the appropriate resource or technician(s).
  • Monitor and track service orders to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in in-service training programs and attend staff meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated proficiency and ability to troubleshoot in Microsoft Windows OS (all versions).
  • Demonstrated proficiency and ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office (all versions) and applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to carry out tasks which require accuracy, analyzing and evaluating situations, reaching sound and logical conclusions, making appropriate recommendations, and documenting actions.
  • Ability to work across cultures and demonstrate support of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, team-oriented, and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Graduation from High School or equivalent required. CompTIA A+ certification desired but not required.
  • 2-3 years support experience related to software, hardware, network, and/or telecom. Call center experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting the EPIC electronic medical records application.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, understand interoperability, and escalate items as needed.
