Behavioral Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at Ro Health. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work closely with students in a school setting, providing behavioral support and leveraging Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies and techniques to help them succeed and thrive.
About the Role
This is a full-time/part-time position with a schedule that complements your lifestyle. You will work with students ranging from pre-K to high school, providing support in a 1:1 or general classroom setting. Your primary responsibilities will include providing behavioral support, ensuring students are on task and working towards their behavioral goals, and delivering support wherever needed most by the teacher.

Responsibilities
• Provide behavioral support to students in a school setting
• Leverage Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies and techniques to help students succeed and thrive
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students are receiving the support they need
• Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Experience working with students with behavioral needs
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process
