Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team at Telecare Corporation. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with severe mental illness (SMI) in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with members served in meaningful conversations to explore, create, and meet their recovery goals.
  • Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture.
  • Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of Peer Support Training/Certified Peer Specialist or Peer Employment Training within one year of hire.
  • Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care.
