We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at MidPen Housing. As a key member of our Property Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our communities, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Train and supervise subordinate staff in all areas of maintenance operations, including training programs and daily work schedules.
- Maintenance Operations: Manage the day-to-day maintenance operations of assigned properties, including routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and maintenance duties.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate and current records of maintenance performed, including inventory control and management of equipment and supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Property Management, Resident Services, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma and five years of experience in maintenance, landscaping, irrigation systems, interior/exterior painting, rough and finish carpentry, replacement of flooring/glass, lock assemblies, and extensive plumbing knowledge.
- Supervisory Experience: Three years of supervisory experience with demonstrated knowledge in overseeing work crews and apartment turnovers.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
