Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Tax, the Tax Compliance Senior Analyst will support the tax division in various tax-related functions, with a primary focus on domestic tax compliance and income tax accounting.
This role is integral to a vibrant tax department that enhances the overall business through strategic planning and collaboration across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of the Company’s consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns, which includes data collection, workpaper preparation, and account analysis and documentation.
- Preparation of federal and state tax estimates and extensions.
- Assisting the team in the preparation of quarterly and annual ASC740 work papers.
- Responding to inquiries from tax authorities related to tax examinations and notices.
- Preparation of various non-income tax returns, including sales & use, property, and business license returns.
- Maintaining the corporate compliance calendar.
- Assisting with other non-recurring domestic compliance or planning projects as they arise.
The ideal candidate is an inquisitive and detail-oriented professional with experience in corporate tax. Proficiency in MS Excel, tax compliance software, and online research tools is essential. The candidate thrives in a collaborative and dynamic work environment, engaging effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
