Biogen is seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our dynamic tax department. As a key member of our team, you will assist in all tax functions, including domestic tax compliance and income tax accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns, including data gathering, workpaper preparation, and account analysis and documentation.
  • Preparation of federal and state tax estimates and extensions.
  • Assistance with quarterly and annual ASC740 work papers.
  • Response to inquiries from tax authorities in connection with tax examinations and/or notices.
  • Preparation of various non-income tax returns, including sales & use, property, business license, etc.
  • Maintenance of corporate compliance calendar.
  • Assistance with other non-recurring domestic compliance or planning projects as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry.
  • Experience with consolidated corporate federal and state tax return preparation.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software, online research tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
