**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team at rue21. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales associates to improve their skills and performance

**Requirements**

  • High school education required; some college preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a retail management role; 1 year of management experience preferred
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, carry up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job
