Part-time Lecturer in Public Policy

The UCLA Department of Public Policy is seeking a qualified instructor to teach introductory courses in quantitative analysis to Master of Public Policy students. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, research, and/or community service, and will be able to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.
Responsibilities include teaching, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, and writing and grading papers/exams. Ability to work cooperatively with other faculty and department staff is essential.
A Master's degree or Ph.D. in a related field is required. Experience teaching similar courses is preferred.
The position is represented by the University Council - American Federation of Teachers, and internal applicants will be considered for reappointment prior to the consideration of external applicants.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications include education, training, professional experience, or other forms of proven expertise in the subject matter to be covered by the course, as well as evidence of experience and success with teaching and other forms of presenting the relevant substantive material to audiences comparable to students taking the course.
