Job Summary

We are seeking qualified candidates for temporary, part-time lecturer positions in the Undergraduate Program in Public Affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more of the following courses:

  • PUB AFF 110: The Urban Revolution: Space and Society in Global Context
  • Other courses related to Public Affairs


Responsibilities include revising course syllabi, developing lectures and course materials, lecturing, holding office hours, and managing teaching assistants. We seek candidates with subject matter expertise and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.

Requirements

Basic qualifications include education, training, professional experience, or other forms of proven expertise in the subject matter to be covered by the course, as well as evidence of experience and success with teaching and presenting relevant substantive material to audiences comparable to students taking the course.
