Organization Overview:
Women's Care Center is the largest pregnancy resource organization in the United States, dedicated to supporting women through their pregnancy journeys. Established in 1984 by a Catholic theologian, we now assist over 37,000 women each year across 36 centers in 12 states.

Mission:
Our mission is to empower pregnant women to choose life for their children, ensure healthier pregnancies, enhance parenting skills, and take initial steps towards self-sufficiency.

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an Outreach Director to strengthen community support for our center in Indianapolis, IN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Community Support: Research and establish a diverse network of supporters. This role involves cultivating, soliciting, and nurturing new relationships to create a robust donor base for our local center.
  • Lead a Support Committee: Inspire and manage a group of 'connectors' who can advocate for our organization and encourage others to join our mission.
  • Organize Fundraising Events: Collaborate with our National Director of Events to plan and execute the Luxury Bingo Event, including securing sponsorships and participant engagement.
  • Engage Current Donors: Foster relationships with existing donors to deepen their commitment to the Women's Care Center's mission.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, including appeal letters, thank you notes, and event details with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather impactful stories for donor communications.
  • Oversee and coordinate volunteer efforts.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience: Background in sales or marketing is preferred, but we value passion and interpersonal skills. Training will be provided.

  • Self-motivated and proactive approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
