The Referral Management Specialist will be a vital part of the Puget Sound Military Appointing Center (PSMAC), which serves as a key resource for beneficiaries seeking healthcare services. This role involves managing both inbound and outbound communications, ensuring beneficiaries receive timely access to quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Call Management:** Handle incoming and outgoing calls from beneficiaries, verifying eligibility and scheduling appointments effectively.
2. **Referral Processing:** Review and process referrals, determining appropriate actions based on established guidelines and standards.
3. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of referrals, appointments, and any issues encountered, ensuring compliance with business policies.
4. **Reporting:** Generate monthly reports detailing referral status and outcomes, highlighting any discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Additional Duties:

Support the processing of Secure Message Service (SMS) requests and assist in drive-time mapping for specialty care appointments. Ensure all actions align with the standards set forth by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the organization.
