We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team at FORVIS. As a Tax Senior Associate, you will play a key role in providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, and technology.
- Assist in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Help develop and manage client relationships to drive business growth and retention.
- Provide timely and exceptional client service, exceeding client expectations through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Represent FORVIS in the marketplace at networking events, promoting our services and expertise.
- Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.
- Contribute to FORVIS-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications, as well as internal learning and development sessions.
- Collaborate with your team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
- A strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clients and experience servicing multiple client engagements.
- Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A solution-finding attitude.
- Willingness to take initiative.
- Precise attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and against target dates.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
