Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to support our team. This role is perfect for a candidate with a strong understanding of both physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and a variety of IT tools. You will support a company that provides critical legal services to national banks, making your role integral to the smooth functioning of high-speed, intense IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee both physical and virtual servers, with high-level knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Administer and manage SAN storage systems and ensure data integrity and availability. Understand the Office 365 environment, including user accounts, email, and collaboration tools. Provide comprehensive IT support to both the local team and the India-based remote staff, ensuring uptime and smooth operation across multiple locations. Act as a point of contact for end-user issues, providing friendly and effective solutions without being abrasive. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure IT systems align with the needs of both internal teams and end clients. Take charge of IT projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time, prioritizing effectively in high-speed environments. Manage and maintain the file servers. Employ the latest security protocols.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information technology or Computer Science. 3+ years of experience in system administration or IT support. Experience with Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based operating systems. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
