Job Summary:

USI Holdings Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for assessing large risks of a complex nature, developing and negotiating premiums, and managing relationships with brokers and carriers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and analyze new and renewal accounts for the most complex assignments.
  • Develop and negotiate premiums that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Manage relationships with brokers and carriers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management and insurance solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of underwriting experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of the insurance industry and market.
  • Ability to establish product risk factors and negotiate with strong mathematical skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Proficiency in utilizing company systems.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
