Job Title: SEO Content Specialist

The role of the SEO Content Specialist at Almo involves creating original and engaging content that drives organic traffic to our ecommerce platform. This includes researching products, categories, and competitors to inform copy and identifying target keywords for each product category.



The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumers and what motivates their online shopping behavior. They will be responsible for setting and executing the SEO strategy, working closely with Marketing Managers and Specialists to understand consumer insights and copy requirements.



Key responsibilities include:




  • Researching SEO recommendations and competitor ads
  • Understanding ecommerce customer algorithms and copy style guides
  • Creating customer-specific copy adhering to their guides
  • Managing backend keywords and maintenance
  • Tracking organic rank of target keywords and implementing optimization
  • Preparing regular SEO reports and presenting monthly findings


The successful candidate will have exceptional writing, research, and communication skills, with 3-5 years of SEO experience in an ecommerce business. They will be familiar with Amazon SEO and best practices, and have a deep understanding of consumers and what motivates their online shopping behavior.
