Marketing Communications Specialist

Gerflor Usa, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of digital marketing and analytics, as well as experience in managing marketing campaigns and developing content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the marketing plan and assist in creating and managing the marketing budget.
  • Develop and manage a mix of marketing campaigns to develop brand and product awareness and create demand within targeted segments and audiences.
  • Incorporate a full and clear understanding of the company brand, corporate identity, and tone into all activities and communications, adapting to target audience needs.
  • Act as owner of the Stagestep online presence, developing and executing website content, designing customer user experience, and maintaining online sales platforms.
  • Manage and maintain integration of online sales processing and product inventory systems.
  • Responsible for brands social media platforms, creating strategies and developing content within corporate guidelines to increase engagement with target audience.
  • Develop content and manage all digital marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand recognition, website traffic, and visibility.
  • Create and coordinate development of short videos to support brand initiatives and product marketing.
  • Manage product marketing and content development, including packaging, instructions for use, and cross-promotions.
  • Coordinate content development and editing of print production collateral, sample binders, brochures, direct mail, sales tools, and on-brand materials.
  • Track media calendar and evaluate opportunities for earned media to increase brand exposure.
  • Track PR and advertising hits, magazines subscriptions, and associations renewals.
  • Management and execution of tradeshows and events and related sponsorships.
  • Assist with development of sales presentations using PowerPoint and/or other support.
  • Sourcing and project coordination of third-party vendors as needed.
Requirements:
  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven understanding of digital marketing and analytics.
  • Project management, budgeting, and outside vendors management experience.
  • Content development experience and implementation of social media strategies.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
  • Proven experience in updating website within a Content Management System.
  • Proven attentiveness to quality of art direction, imagery, photos, and brand.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Online sales management, strategy, and inventory integration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suites software is a plus.
  • Understanding of the dance/arts community and/or interest and appreciation for dance is a plus.
