Customs Logistic Coordinator Overview
As the Shipping & Customs Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and updating all Shipping and Customs operations to guarantee that all goods reach their destinations safely and promptly.

Key Responsibilities of the Customs Logistic Coordinator:

  • Develop specific protocols for shipping, customs, and packing of goods, as well as technical inquiry packages for shipping and customs services.
  • Assist the Shipping and Customs Manager in strategizing shipping and customs operations.
  • Evaluate scope and documentation, create the Transport Plan, and determine the optimal transport methods based on weight, dimensions, transit routes, schedules, and costs.
  • May draft transport instructions for dedicated Purchase Requests to issue specific transport contracts.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for executing shipping and customs operations, ensuring compliance with import, export, and transit regulations.
  • Track the status of each shipment from collection to completion, ensuring all shipping documents are signed and stamped to confirm final receipt.
  • Generate the Service Entry Sheet in accordance with Transport Service Contract Documents.
  • Utilize SAP for managing shipping and customs activities, ensuring timely updates.
  • Collaborate with the material purchasing department to establish transport budgets and optimal contractual delivery terms.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding & Customs within Project Cargo in an EPC/EPIC environment.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector is preferred.
