Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough crisis assessments and develop tailored care plans.
  • Facilitate connections between patients and relevant services.
  • Work alongside various healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and insurance companies as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health.
  • Strong communication abilities to handle complex situations with sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of DSM5, ICD10, and interqual/MCG criteria.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in assessment roles.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in crisis or emergency services within a behavioral health context.
  • Awareness of mental health laws and patient rights.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
  • Valid driver's license in the State of Illinois (if applicable).
  • CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Current CPR certification from an accredited organization within 90 days of employment.
