Job Summary

Hogan Lovells is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Communications function, you will play a critical role in planning and executing high-profile events that support the firm's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the global retreats team and Americas events team to plan and execute key partner/lawyer events, including conferences, retreats, and client dinners.
  • Work closely with management, partners, and colleagues from Corporate Communications and Marketing & Business Development to define event goals and manage event budgets.
  • Develop strategic interactions and ROI through the planning, execution, and tracking of events.
  • Maintain and build relationships with external vendors and suppliers, including event venues, caterers, and audiovisual companies.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and budget preparation.
  • Use project management skills and tools to ensure seamless planning and execution.
  • Post-event follow-up, including communications, program feedback, and budget reconciliation.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in events execution in a professional services environment.
  • Marketing background desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Expert-level project and budget management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects and/or simultaneous events.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Experience working independently and within a collaborative environment.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in CRM programs.
What We Offer
  • Annualized salary range: $170,000 to $200,000.
