**About the Role**

We are seeking a High-Volume Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development of innovative manufacturing processes for wire harness assemblies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced harness manufacturing processes, incorporating automation to enable high-throughput production and ensure scalability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Design and develop advanced harness manufacturing processes, including the implementation of automation solutions.
  2. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure harness designs are optimized for manufacturability and efficiency.
  3. Identify and develop tooling and equipment for harness assembly, working closely with vendors and internal resources.
  4. Lead prototype builds, ensuring successful transition from prototype to high-volume production.
  5. Serve as a liaison between engineering development and production teams, facilitating smooth communication and alignment on project goals.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a mid/high-volume, high-complexity setting.
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks) and familiarity with manufacturing principles such as PFMEA, 5S, Lean 6-Sigma, Process Capability Analysis and time studies.

**Compensation:** Our salary range for this position is $128,600 - $213,600 per year, based on geographic location and market factors. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other perks.
