About the Role

The Senior Assembly Manufacturing Lead will play a crucial role in our assembly team, overseeing the production process, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing efficient processes to drive productivity. As a leader, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding your team members, providing guidance on technical aspects of assembly and integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily assembly operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall quality of assembly products.
  • Mentor and train team members on technical skills, provide coaching on leadership and soft skills, and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new assembly processes, equipment, and tools.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed decisions to optimize assembly operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in assembly manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or medical industries.
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly, final integration, and/or harness integration.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team management, mentoring, and training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices, such as automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, and torque wrenches.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with prior leadership experience, particularly in leading teams, projects, or people, will be given preference. Additionally, experience bringing teams and processes from development to production, Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license, and ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering documentation and/or drawings will be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $63,400/year to $113,000/year, depending on the geographic location.
