About the Position

About the Job

This full-time position will involve working in our General Pediatrics department, providing expert care to patients with various conditions, including asthma, hyperbilirubinemia, cellulitis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, and meningitis. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize patient comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Prescribe and coordinate patient care, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Oversee care delivered by patient care teams, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet patient needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a valid license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatric care.
  • BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association and other required certifications.
