Position Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include acting as a crucial link between patients and physicians, ensuring that patient care is prioritized and maintained at the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients and their families to determine care needs.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Clinical Support: Provide assistance during examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and administering medications as necessary.
  • Documentation: Accurately record patient histories, including chief complaints and medication lists, into the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Supply Management: Manage the ordering and stocking of medical supplies, ensuring exam rooms are prepared for patient visits.
  • Referral Coordination: Handle the scheduling of patient visits and surgeries, as well as obtaining necessary referrals and prior authorizations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the healthcare team.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure: Current LPN license is mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records is strongly preferred, with familiarity in Microsoft Office applications.
