Job Opportunity

Goodwill San Francisco Bay is seeking a skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a team of retail professionals, and driving sales growth in our Outlet store and Aftermarket operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the store and operation team to ensure a positive customer shopping experience.
  • Perform operational activities, including scheduling, coaching, and training of assigned staff.
  • Work with the Store Manager to optimize business opportunities and ensure the highest levels of customer service.
  • Support in hiring activities, including interviewing, new-hire orientation, and coaching.
  • Collaborate with Loss Prevention & Safety to protect assets and maximize the value potential of product.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service experience, including at least 6 months of retail experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
  • Proficient use of basic math skills and/or accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
  • Flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand on hard surfaces for an extended period.
