Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our estate planning and elder law practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Management: Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Client Relations: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients.
  • Case Management: Assist attorneys with case management, including opening and closing files, organizing and maintaining client documents, and ensuring timely follow-up on case progress.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage attorney calendars, schedule client appointments, and coordinate meetings and events.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize legal documents related to estate planning and elder law, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Handle billing and invoicing for clients, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain client confidentiality and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing correspondence, filing, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal office administration, preferably in estate planning and elder law.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and strong attention to detail.

Benefits

Hourly pay range is $20-25 based on experience and qualifications.
