Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Locomotive Operators and Conductors for our operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement of railcars and maintaining the safety and integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily railcar movements with precision.
  • Assist in positioning cars on designated tracks, moving empty cars, and constructing outbound trains.
  • Conduct visual inspections of railcars and perform minor maintenance as needed.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to railcar movements.
  • Adhere to established rail safety regulations and protocols.
  • Be prepared to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
  • Prior experience in the rail industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in an industrial setting is also beneficial.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to undergo training in switchmen, locomotive operations, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend operational guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of working on a DuPont schedule.
  • Ability to climb on and off railcars and locomotives.
  • Must pass site-specific testing requirements.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk over one mile daily on uneven terrain.
  • Capacity to stand and navigate on uneven ballast surfaces for extended periods.
