Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture community relationships.
  • Drive self-generated sales and achieve sales targets while working autonomously.

  • Conduct grassroots marketing and field sales events, as well as home visits to prospective clients.
  • Promote individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries about our services in a field environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active Florida Health Insurance license.
  • Proficient in technology, including advanced use of laptops and mobile applications, with familiarity in CRM tools or other sales/marketing resources.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with specified limits.
  • Residency in the local territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Florida Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint.
  • Engagement with the community through service, organizations, and volunteerism.
  • Experience in selling Medicare products.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
  • Background in public speaking and presentations.

Additional Information

This role is part of Humana's Driving Safety and Vehicle Management Program, requiring validation of driving credentials and MVR review.

Work Schedule

Flexibility is crucial, as member meetings may require appointments and events during evenings and weekends.

Training Requirements

Mandatory attendance for the first five weeks of employment.

Language Proficiency

Associates communicating with members in languages other than English must complete a language proficiency assessment.
