Charge Nurse

Lakeside Generations, a part of Cassia, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Display a commitment to courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with other staff members to achieve shared goals.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and/or treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring for effectiveness and response.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, monitoring staff performance and taking necessary follow-up actions.
- Notify nurse managers, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, taking follow-up action as needed.
- Order lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as necessary.
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician's orders.
- Participate in direct resident care as needed.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to established procedures.
- Monitor nursing personnel on duty during assigned shifts.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Strong nursing and leadership skills, with a focus on critical thinking and decision-making.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes and services.
