RN, Charge Nurse

Lakeside Generations, a part of Cassia, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing professionals and providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Display a courteous and respectful attitude towards residents, families, and staff.
- Function as a team member with other staff in the performance of duties.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response.
- Implement individual plans of care for residents and monitor staff providing care.
- Notify nurse manager, attending physician, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and take follow-up action as necessary.
- Order lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as needed.
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician's orders.
- Participate in direct resident care as needed.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to procedures.
- Monitor nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
- Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Strong nursing and leadership skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
