Position Overview:
As a Senior Client Advisor at Oracle Defunct, you will play a pivotal role in supporting North American Application Sales.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with Oracle's most significant clients, offering insightful leadership and strategic recommendations on process enhancements, capability advancements, and technological transformations to achieve operational objectives.

Client Advisors are instrumental in helping Oracle clients navigate the intricate connections and complexities within their organizations and the broader ecosystem of suppliers, partners, and service providers.

They break down transformation opportunities into manageable, value-driven recommendations.

As trusted advisors, Business Architects engage with customers, collaborating closely with internal senior leaders, solution engineering teams, and partner alliances to implement both long-term and short-term account strategies.

Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be self-driven, consultative, and confident in engaging with senior leadership while thriving in a matrixed environment. A strong background in C-level presentations is essential.

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:
  • A comprehensive understanding of business processes across various functions, including finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, marketing, sales, and service.
  • The ability to grasp customers' strategic goals, challenges, and opportunities, translating these into critical capabilities and their effects on operational metrics.
  • Expertise in diagnosing current state architectures, designing future state architectures, and providing a phased roadmap to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Extensive knowledge of business application solutions and transformational technologies.
  • A background in business process design and consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in advisory roles, solution architecture, and value engineering.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise business software (ERP, SCM, HCM, CX, PaaS, etc.).
  • Industry experience in sectors such as Retail, CPG, or Life Sciences.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • The ability to work independently from various locations.
  • A strategic and outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of architectural methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior audiences.
  • A track record of achieving ambitious goals and fulfilling commitments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
  • Develop thought leadership and methodologies that advocate for change.
  • Possess a deep understanding of industry trends, customer strategies, and business objectives.
  • Establish trusted advisor status by comprehensively understanding the customer's business and co-developing strategic initiatives.
  • Engage in value-based selling and articulate compelling value propositions.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities within the customer’s landscape and architect solutions utilizing the Oracle portfolio.
  • Act as an expert advocate for Oracle solutions, technology, and digital transformation strategies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Oracle's product offerings and technical advancements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Lead discussions focused on strategic value rather than mere features.
  • Architect and coordinate large-scale, multi-product initiatives.
Sales Initiatives:
  • Identify key opportunities within accounts.
  • Drive programs with strong value propositions and pathways to cloud adoption.
  • Lead business development discussions to create new opportunities.
  • Influence partners to prioritize Oracle solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to co-develop deal economics linked to business benefits.
  • Work closely with sales teams on account planning and effective sales strategies.
Advocacy:
  • Identify gaps in Oracle solutions and communicate primary requirements to Product Development.
  • Share thought leadership tools and methodologies across teams and Oracle.
  • Develop positioning for cross-product solutions.
