Position Overview:


Assist the healthcare and nursing teams with various tasks that involve significant interaction with patients in their living environments, including homes and care facilities.

Responsibilities encompass activities such as personal hygiene assistance, meal support, and patient mobility.

Key Duties:


Contribute as an integral member of the healthcare team in delivering patient support; may monitor vital signs; may assist with bathing, feeding, and dressing patients as required; may facilitate therapeutic activities such as encouraging patients to engage in self-care, assisting with mobility exercises, and restorative practices; maintain accurate records on paper or electronic systems as assigned; observe and report any changes in patient conditions; may assist in diagnostic assessments; apply sterile techniques when necessary; aid in transferring patients using appropriate mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers; participate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as assigned.

Ensure a clean and safe environment for patient care; change bed linens, assist in preparing specialized equipment; clean and maintain medical devices; report any faulty or damaged equipment to the relevant personnel; manage inventory and stock supplies; perform basic laboratory tests such as glucose monitoring, stool tests, and collect specimens; carry out related responsibilities as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: At least one (1) year of customer service experience in a healthcare environment or direct patient care experience.

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
Licensure: Registered Nursing Assistant (Washington) or Nursing Assistant Certificate (Washington) is required upon hire.
Driver's License (Washington) is necessary.
Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
