Position OverviewThe Patient Care Technician plays a crucial role in our healthcare environment, providing essential support to nursing staff and ensuring the well-being of patients. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering basic nursing care and ensuring patient comfort.
- Facilitate the safe transportation of patients within the facility.
- Perform clerical duties to support healthcare operations.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate effectively with registered nurses and healthcare practitioners to deliver high-quality care.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Eligibility for Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven days of hire).
- Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty days of hire.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification or Licensure.
- Recent experience in bedside care within a healthcare setting.
- Current CPR Certification.
