Position Overview

The Patient Care Technician plays a crucial role in our healthcare environment, providing essential support to nursing staff and ensuring the well-being of patients. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering basic nursing care and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Facilitate the safe transportation of patients within the facility.
  • Perform clerical duties to support healthcare operations.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse patient population.
  • Collaborate effectively with registered nurses and healthcare practitioners to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Eligibility for Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven days of hire).
  • Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty days of hire.
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification or Licensure.
  • Recent experience in bedside care within a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR Certification.
