In this vital role, you will assist in various medical procedures, surgical preparations, and overall patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the veterinarian during routine medical, diagnostic, dental, and surgical tasks.
- Prepare animals for surgical procedures while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Administer post-operative care to ensure patient recovery.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Efficiently complete daily operational checklists.
- Safely handle and restrain animals of diverse sizes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary physical activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an AVMA accredited veterinary technician program.
- Strong team player with excellent communication abilities.
- Capable of interacting with a wide range of individuals.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Successful completion of a background check.
