Job Title: Community Services Support Specialist

South Metro Fire Rescue is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Services Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Community Services Division, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our community programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and report preparation.
  • Support the coordination of community events, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including personnel files, event records, and other administrative documents.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Three years of responsible administrative experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
