Job Title: Zero Trust SME

Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Zero Trust SME to join our team. As a trusted provider for our Federal and commercial clients, we deliver customized solutions to address our clients' unique business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document cyber terrain, assets, risks, and vulnerabilities to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our clients' security posture.
  • Design, develop, and implement Zero Trust architecture across the organization, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and communicate security modernization strategies to keep our clients at the forefront of cybersecurity.
  • Perform risk assessments, testing of information systems, and document daily cybersecurity operations to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Monitor firewalls and defensive measures, and perform routine incident response using approved service ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build roadmaps and strategies for transitioning networks, computing, storage, applications, and security services to an Enterprise Zero Trust architecture.
  • Provide guidance on how to architect, design, leverage, and operate various operational platforms, including Identity, Credential, Access Management (ICAM), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Develop policies and procedures for access control, identity verification, and security monitoring that align with Zero Trust principles.
  • Define and map cyber terrain and critical assets using mandated systems/tools.
  • Participate in operational synchronization meetings and related cyber meetings.
  • Prioritize requirements based on the needs of the project.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Security + Certification.
  • At least 7 years of related experience.
  • On-site at the Pentagon 5 days a week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Zero Trust architecture and principles.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of ICAM, SIEM, SOAR, and Privileged Access Management solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing cyber terrain, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • A strong understanding of Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts is required.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
