Job Overview

LUXE Properties is seeking a proficient Accounting Clerk/Financial Record Specialist to oversee our financial documentation, which encompasses transactions such as purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating and interpreting financial reports while ensuring adherence to legal standards. You will also manage accounts payable and receivable, along with handling invoices and tax obligations. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience and be well-versed in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks. Your primary duty will be to accurately document all daily financial activities of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process.
  • Ensure transactions are accurately logged in the appropriate day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
  • Prepare the books for trial balance.
  • Conduct partial audits of the posting process.
  • Complete necessary tax documentation.
  • Input data, maintain records, and generate financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts receivable/payable and process payroll efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles related to payables and receivables.
  • Proven capability to calculate, post, and manage financial records and accounting figures.
  • Data entry proficiency coupled with a strong affinity for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary accounting software.
  • Fluency in English, along with proficiency in MS Office and Quickbooks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and negotiation abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
