Job SummaryAt Miami Regional University, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bursar Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our Student Financial Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student financial records, managing student accounts, and providing exceptional customer service to our students and families.Key Responsibilities
  • Process and post incoming payments to student accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of payments and bank reports.
  • Manage aged receivables, including regular collections and analysis of past due accounts, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review student records to ensure accuracy and completeness, and assist in purchasing campus supplies as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, families, and internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Bursar Department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and University policies.
Requirements
  • At least three years of significant office administration experience, maintaining business or accounting records.
  • Strong computer skills in data management and word processing, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
