Job Summary:The Head of Agency Sales is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives revenue growth through direct sales to agencies and brands. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Ad Operations, Data & Measurement, Marketing, and Product.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, identifying and qualifying potential clients and using CRM tools to track opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and advertisers at the highest levels, acting as a trusted advisor and providing regular updates and communication
- Guide clients through the entire sales process, conducting needs assessments, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts
- Oversee managed services (IO) and programmatic buying options, ensuring proper contract execution
- Work with data teams to develop insightful reporting for advertiser campaigns and present performance reports to clients
- Coordinate with internal teams for campaign execution, communicating client needs and expectations
- Strive to meet or exceed sales targets, identifying upselling opportunities and maintaining an understanding of Telly's advertising offerings and industry trends
- 7+ years of digital ad sales experience, exceeding revenue targets
- Strong agency contacts and success with IO/programmatic buyers
- Expertise in video ad tech, buying pathways, and supply path optimization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Self-motivated problem-solver with team leadership experience
- High integrity and empathy
- Strong cross-departmental collaboration abilities
