Job Summary

Oak View Group is a leading venue development and management company in the live event industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher & Catering Attendant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure the sanitation of all kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, dishware, glassware, and silverware, as well as the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, store, and inventory all catering equipment.
  • Event Support: Assist in pulling and staging all equipment prior to set-up, during events, and during clean-up.
  • Trash and Recycling: Sort and remove trash or compost and clean after usage during events.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep and/or scrub all floors in the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
  • Dock Area Maintenance: Assist in keeping dock areas clean and organized.
  • Spill Response: Clean up spills and/or breakage on the event floor.
Requirements
  • Experience: Past experience working in a food production kitchen or similar industry preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to positively interact with diverse personalities, including co-workers and managers in a variety of fast-paced work situations.
  • Language Skills: Must have active listening and effective communication skills at a basic level of English.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to be detail-oriented, multi-task, and effectively prioritize in a continuously changing environment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
