Qualifications for the Smog & Repair Technician

  • ASE Certification or equivalent automotive repair certification.
  • State smog technician license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening – THC not included in the screening.
