Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Professional to join our team at Kroger as a Jewelry Sales Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and promoting our fine jewelry products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Meet sales targets: Achieve personal sales goals, including credit applications and protection plan attachment rates, to contribute to the team's overall success.
  • Promote Diamond Parties and special events: Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute in-store events, showcasing our fine jewelry collections and creating memorable experiences for customers.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates: Foster a positive and supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers: Utilize clienteling techniques to establish trust, understand customer preferences, and provide tailored recommendations to drive repeat business.
  • Provide product knowledge and assistance: Educate customers on our fine jewelry collections, including gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship, to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
  • Operate point of sale systems: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a high level of accuracy in sales and inventory management.
  • Inspect and clean customers' jewelry: Provide expert care and maintenance for customers' fine jewelry pieces, ensuring they remain in excellent condition.
  • Provide estimates for jewelry and watch repairs: Assess damage, recommend repair options, and provide quotes for customers to consider.
  • Perform watch battery replacements and adjustments: Offer expert watch repair services, including battery replacements and adjustments, to meet customer needs.
  • Follow receiving and processing procedures: Ensure accurate receipt and processing of merchandise, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and control.
  • Display merchandise as per corporate guidelines: Effectively merchandise our fine jewelry collections, adhering to Kroger's visual merchandising standards and guidelines.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures: Adhere to established procedures for opening and closing the store, ensuring a secure and organized environment.
  • Conduct basic housekeeping tasks: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to Kroger's standards for cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain safety and security measures: Adhere to Kroger's safety and security protocols, ensuring a secure environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in inventory processes: Collaborate with colleagues to manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  • Flexibility to work any shift: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our customers and the business.
  • Desired Previous Job Experience: Sales, retail, or jewelry experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Goal-oriented and sales-driven individual
    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • Ability to pass a drug test
